2026 PCT Grant Recipient

I publicly shared a couple of months ago that I will be hiking the Pacific Crest Trail NOBO April 6th - I will be hiking 2,650 miles, roughly 4-5 months, from Mexico to Canada and would love your support!

and... I won the 2026 PCT Grant!

This IS the reason I am able to hike this season and I am brought to my knees in gratitude… Trail Magic to the MAX! I have hit every roadblock this winter season and encountered what felt like endless setbacks - I just made peace with pushing the trail off a year… and two days later, the “Congratulations!” email landed in my inbox.

One of the many truths grief has revealed to me is the resiliency to find strength and courage in difficult places. The wilderness has simultaneously taught me similar lessons showing me beauty and refuge but also challenge and discomfort.

Here’s to hiking from Mexico to Canada and representing Washington’s hiking community with this grant!

If any Washington State residents are interested in hiking the PCT next season the 2027 registration is now open!
