Integration

Integration is the unfolding that arrives after the insight.

It’s not the ceremony, the breakthrough, or the moment of clarity on the mat. It’s what happens after - when the world stays the same, but you don’t.

I have learned that medicine work doesn’t just open you; it unmasks you. Psychedelics peel back the layers we have from survival. Yoga dissolves the tension that keeps us upright in a life that asks us to be small. Cycle syncing work, as a human who bleeds, brings us back into the tides of our own body - where everything we were told to suppress has its own rhythm, its own intelligence.

Each of these paths has something in common: Sensitivity - the return of aliveness.

While sensitivity is a natural reflection of healing, it can be challenging to embody in a culture that suppresses feeling. We are becoming tender in a world that rewards hardness. We are slowing down in a world that idolizes speed. We are waking up in a world that profits from us being asleep.

As we begin to feel more, the space between our internal reality and the external world widens. Our vantage point shifts (gratitude to Shelley Adelle Bliss for this language). Suddenly, we can’t unsee what our body now knows, and this can be profoundly lonely. Not everyone has walked this path. Not everyone has signed up for this level of seeing.

Sometimes (not always) it feels like the deeper you go, the fewer people you can connect with.
And yet, something keeps calling us forward…

Integration is learning to live whole again: honest, awake, and unarmored.
Opening to this work is choosing to come back to the part of us that has always been wild enough to feel.

Integration is where the truth sinks into the body, and even if the path feels solitary at times, we are not doing it alone. This is personal work, yes - but it is also collective. Every one of us who chooses to feel creates a little more space for others to do the same. Together, we weave a remembering, a returning to ourselves and each other.

See you in the truth, see you in the unknown ➰🤍
